Reinforced concrete is formed by the exclusive combination of concrete and steel bars. The relation of reinforced concrete with high pressure is high pressure-tensile coupling. Multi-storey structures, bridges, road and field pavements, dams, retaining walls, tunnels, water bodies, pipes, liquid reservoirs, etc. are the most important ones can be counted in reinforced concrete uses.

Advantages of using reinforced concrete are features such as high compressive strength of reinforced concrete, resistance to fire, rigidity, low maintenance costs, corrosion resistance, long service life, easy shaping, being economical, cost of qualified personnel in construction can be counted. There are also disadvantages such as the condition of being a formwork-scaffolding, its high weight, weather conditions in its manufacture, and a long construction period.

Prestressing/post-tensioning is also used in the design of structures due to displacement limit, and the tensile strength of the reinforced concrete steel is not sufficient. Engineer decides whether the structural element should be pre-tensioned or post-tensioned.

With today’s developing of computers, non-linear methods are used instead of linear methods which the non-linear methods can determine the real behaviour of structure instead of linear method are based on strength of materials. In non-linear method, the performance is measured according to a deformation in the structure. It is sufficient to use non-linear method at high priority structures or the level of damage is important.

We provide services on reinforced concrete with 15 engineering experience. We are experts in dynamic analysis, especially in earthquake-danger areas.
Using 3D modelling techniques, we observe the real behaviour of the building and design it in the light of these data. Our service is not only building construction, but also prestressed bridge beams, prestressed industrial structures, prestressed floors, beam, and column calculations.
